The cultural theme that I found in this section of Robin Hood was how honor was very important in Robin's time. For example, he really wanted to win the archery competition because it would give him a little fame. This was made even more apparent because Will'o'the green was furious when he lost to Robin due the fact that the wind made his shot move to the left of the bullseye.
