Quote week four

"When the Bible says "Moses lifted up the serpent in teh wilderness," that serpent is symbolic of the devil white race Moses lifted up out of the caves of Europe, teaching them civilization" (193). I find this quote extremely important to the understanding of how Malcolm thinks because he is joining a religion that teaches white hate. I understand why a branch of religion would incorperate this, but it doesn't help create peace and understanding between blacks and whites. If anyting it will hurt the community more.
